There are several items I need to make you aware of right from the start with regard to NABF and the rules and regulations we will be playing under.

GENERAL:

One (1) manager, three (3) coaches, one (1) scorekeeper, one (1) bat boy, and one (1) trainer are allowed in the dugout with rostered players. All players are to be in full coordinated uniforms. Coaches may be in shorts and golf style shirts but all must match and be in consistent color of the player’s uniform.
The NABF patches must be worn on all uniform jerseys. Should you have more than one jersey, each set must have patches sewn on either the sleeve or front of each jersey. If more patches are necessary please see the tournament director.
All teams must be checked in on Tuesday July 18th and provide copies of their official NABF roster, league eligibility roster, proof of insurance, and birth certificates.
There will be no on-field batting practice, no hitting up against fencing, and no pepper games on or around the designated tournament diamonds.

You must provide a complete team roster, birth certificates, and proof of insurance of $1,000,000.00 including having the NABF listed as an insured.


PRE-GAME REGULATIONS:

Starting line-ups and all other rostered players are to be submitted to the official scorer on line-up cards, forty (40) minutes before game time. First and last names are to be included as well as player number and position. All substitute players must be listed prior to the start of the game.
The visiting team will take infield/outfield practice ten (10) minutes after the conclusion of the previous game for twelve (12) minutes.

Note: First game of the day, the visitors will start practice thirty (30) minutes before game time for twelve (12) minutes.

The home team will take infield/outfield practice immediately following visitors for twelve (12) minutes.
The managers / umpires meeting will take place six (6) minutes before game time.
Official game times for this event will be 9AM, Noon, 3PM, and 6PM.


GAME REGULATIONS:

Line-up changes are to be verbally communicated to the plate umpire, who will in turn, inform the official scorer prior to the player entering the game.
All players and coaches are to remain in the dugout or outside the enclosed park when they are not an official participant of the game,
There will be no smoking within the enclosed ball park.
Players required to warm up while the game is in progress must do so in the designated bull pen area.
Foul balls hit outside the enclosed ball park are to be retrieved by the team on that side of the field. The ball is to be returned to the home plate umpire.
Actions unbecoming to amateur baseball will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from the immediate game.
All equipment is to be kept within the dugout and out of the field of play.
If at all possible, protests are to be settled immediately on the field of play. If not possible, then, the normal procedure (review the protest at the conclusion of the game and, if upheld, the game will be resumed the following day at the point of protest. Time and field to be announced.) Will be followed.
The tournament rules as contained in the 2006 Constitution/By-Laws and Tournament Publication of the National Amateur Baseball Federation, Inc. will govern and direct play for this World Series, in conjunction with the 2006 Official Baseball Rules.
